Futstop: Securing drums on pallets for safe transport
Tested in accordance with EUMOS 40509 with accelerations of 0.8g for 500 ms, equivalent to emergency road braking as defined by standard EN 12195-1, as referenced by the ADR

Made of high-strength polypropylene, the Fûtstop features perimeter strapping as well as strapping points for securing it to the pallet.
With a reusable buckle system, the Fûtstop is easy to install without any tools for the 1- and 2-drum versions, and with a simple manual tensioner for the 3- and 4-drum versions.

Securing Regulations / ADR
The European Code of Good Practice on the Securing of Loads on Road Vehicles specifies in Article 6.6 on page 62:
"Any means of securing the load to the pallet—such as lashing, heat-shrink wrap, etc. —may be used, provided that the loading pallet is capable of withstanding a lateral tilt angle of at least 26° without any significant signs of distortion”
The ADR 2015 reiterates that all transport of hazardous materials must strictly comply with the conditions set forth in the European Code of Good Practice on the Securing of Loads on Road Vehicles.
In most cases, wrapping drums with strapping makes it difficult to meet the 26° tilt requirement.
Strapping, on the other hand, is difficult to implement effectively because the straps slide very easily along the curved surfaces of the drums and thus often come loose due to vibrations and tilts caused by transport and handling. This requires the use of additional angle brackets or special wedges, making the process time-consuming and costly, often with unpredictable results.
Futstop allows for very quick installation, prevents straps from slipping on the curved surfaces, and ensures safe transport and handling in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Its composition is also resistant to acids and most chemicals.
