Emergency drums or emergency packaging include the letter T in their UN approval. Emergency drums are approved for solid or liquid hazardous materials when used to transport a defective or non-compliant container. Emergency drums are, by default, approved for Packing Group II. Their use for products in Packing Group I is sometimes permitted due to a lack of technical alternatives. 11A/X steel boxes may also be used as emergency

packaging. Depending on the model and intended use, it is necessary to use inner polyethylene bags (emergency drums) and vermiculite for cushioning and absorption. Use in accordance with Chapter4.1.1.19of the ADR. Please contact us if you have any questions.
