UN Drums 1A, 1H, 1G for Dangerous Goods ADR Drums by UN Code – 1A, 1H, 1G

A range of UN approved drums for classified dangerous goods.

Tight head drums (non-removable head with 2" and 3/4" bungs for filling liquids) are designed and approved for the carriage of liquids. The UN code has a "1" before the first slash (1A1/), followed by the packing group, the maximum relative density and the test pressure in kPa.

Open head drums (removable lid with lever-lock closing ring) are, with some exceptions, intended for solid dangerous goods. The UN code has a "2" before the first slash (1A2/), followed by the packing group (X, Y or Z), the maximum gross mass and the letter "S" for solids. Example: 1A2/Y320/S. Some open head drums have a dual approval for solids and liquids. Example: FM212OTADRL

Salvage drums are marked with the letter “T” and are designed to hold damaged, leaking or non-compliant packages.
