ATEX-Certified Heated Cover for Butane and Propane Gas Cylinders

Propane tends to freeze at a temperature of –40°C, while butane freezes as early as 0°C. However, whenever the ambient temperature drops below 0°C—and also due to the pressure drop caused by use—the gas cylinder tends to run out more quickly because the butane remains frozen inside the cylinder.
The ATEX II 3G heating cover is designed for all 15-, 20-, and 25-kg cylinders and is easy to apply: the diameter of the thermal cover is adjustable via Velcro straps.
The heating cables are made of carbon fiber. The power cord is 3.00 m long and includes a 16A 2P+T electrical plug (IP44) with a timer.
The temperature of the ATEX II 3G thermal cover is maintained at a constant 60°C to allow the gas to be used at optimal pressure, ensuring maximum gas combustion in cold ambient temperatures. This ensures that the gas in the cylinder is completely consumed, preventing any remaining gas from freezing and becoming unusable.
