The 216 L steel tight-head drum is a UN-approved packaging, code 1A1, designed for the transport of liquid dangerous goods by road (ADR), rail (RID), sea (IMDG) and air (ICAO). It is suitable for liquids of packing group I (maximum relative density 1.4), II and III (maximum relative density 2.1), with an internal hydraulic test pressure of 350 kPa.
Features: diameter 585 mm, height 882 mm, internal diameter 571.5 mm, nominal capacity 216.5 L, steel thickness 1.2 mm (top, body and bottom), average empty weight 20.7 kg, two external beads (with or without corrugations), 2 TriSure bungs (2" and ¾", plastic or steel), varnished grey RAL 7037 exterior finish.
