Fire blanket for lithium batteries, 2 x 2 m: multi-layered core resistant to temperatures up to 1,500 °C, peripheral counterweights to prevent lifting, 4 deployment handles, and flame-retardant stitching. Designed to contain a lithium-ion battery fire (bicycles, scooters, storage, charging). Shipped in a waterproof bag; reusable under certain conditions.
The fire blanket for batteries is specially designed to be used in the event of a fire involving lithium battery cells, particularly when there is a risk of explosion or the release of flammable gases. Measuring 2 x 2 meters, it effectively covers batteries in electric bikes, scooters, storage packs, and batteries that are currently charging.
Its reinforced core, featuring a multilayer structure combining technical fabrics and insulating materials, withstands temperatures up to 1,500 °C (operating temperature: 1,100 °C). This area allows direct contact with the burning battery and withstands incandescent particle projections, acid splashes, and violent explosions.
The peripheral counterweights prevent the cover from shifting or lifting during an explosion. They help contain the flames, limit the spread of materials, and reduce the emission of smoke and toxic gases.
Battery manufacturers, battery repair shops, charging hubs, electric bike and scooter rental companies, and electric battery storage facilities.
Do not remove the cover from a burning battery without supervision by emergency services. Do not reuse it if damage that could compromise its performance is detected. The user is responsible for checking its condition, decontaminating it if necessary after use, folding it, and storing it.
