This vehicle fire blanket is designed to extinguish fires in motor vehicles, petrol or diesel, and to control flames and smoke on electric vehicles. It is certified to the DIN SPEC 91489:2024-11 technical specification and made of fibreglass fabric coated with a polymer on both sides.

With an area of 10 x 8 m (80 m²) and a weight of 40 kg, this extended version is ideal for large vehicles; it also covers most cars, including SUVs and 4x4s. A 9 x 6 m version is available for standard cars.

Reuse

Reusable under DIN SPEC 91489 provided there is no visible damage, no contact with chemicals (engine oil, brake fluid, extinguishing water with additives) and no direct, prolonged exposure to flames.
