Desiccant packets are used to reduce the relative humidity inside packaging. Using them reduces the moisture present in the packaging to protect the materials from damage caused by high humidity levels during storage and transport.
Desiccant clay is a naturally occurring material whose use in desiccation is regulated by the DIN 55473, NFH000320, and MIL D3464 standards.
Usage:
The correct number of pouches is determined by applying the DIN 55473 industry standard.
• Desiccant pouches must be used inside the packaging.
• For large packages, desiccant packets must be distributed evenly.
• Desiccant packets must be removed from their original packaging shortly before use and must not be exposed to the external environment for extended periods.
• Store desiccant packets in their original packaging in a dry place.
• Shelf life: 24 months.
