The Faratherm consists of an inductive coil encapsulated in glass-fiber-reinforced resin with a heating plate on top. It was developed using the same technology as the Thermosafe induction heater, which has proven its effectiveness and quality for over 20 years.
Powered by single-phase electricity, this unit heats drums and containers from below.
The Faratherm can be used in explosive zones 1 and 2. Thanks to its IP 66 rating, the Faratherm can operate in extreme conditions or where regular cleaning is required.
Since the plate is heated by induction, there are no heating elements. The maximum temperature is self-limiting. In most applications, it is not necessary to install additional control equipment.
